Terms & Conditions

STOCK
We  aim to stock all items advertised on the site.  However, we may run out of stock from time to time.  If this happens we will email you and provide you with an estimated  delivery time.  At this time you can either opt to amend or cancel the order.   Items that are offered at a reduced price may have limited stock available.  If we have insufficient stock of a reduced price item following an order, we will endeavour to fulfill the  order by obtaining new stock of the item.  However, we cannot guarantee that the reduced price will apply to the new stock items.  If this is the case we will email you with a  revised price.  At this time you can either opt to amend or cancel the order.  If you wish to continue with the order the new stock would be deemed to be a Special Order and would not be subject to a refund or return under the Returns & Refund policy stated below.

PAYMENT
Once payment is received, goods will be sent out to you.  All shipping costs are in the website and are estimates only.  Confirmation of shipping costs will be emailed with our bank account details, once your order has been received.

DELIVERY
We aim to deliver within 2 – 3 days, anywhere in New Zealand, depending on stock availability and where you live and the time of placing your order.  We aim to send out orders within 24 hours of money paid in our bank account.  Rural and International destinations is dependent on location and is not included in the timeframe above.  Delivery times are not applicable for orders made on public holidays or weekends.  In these case orders will be dispatched on the next available working day.  Most orders are dispatched with a track & trace , however,some products dispatched by our suppliers are dispatched without a track & trace number.  If the order has not arrived in the specified time frame we will help locate it, if you contact us.  But if provided, please try the trace number first to see what is happening to the order.  However, it is the Consumer’s responsibility to contact us if the product is delayed.  At this stage we will contact suppliers or the courier to locate the order.  During this process we reserve the right to withhold a refund or to issue a replacement, unless we are satisfied that your order has been lost.

FREIGHT CHARGES
Freight charges are based on delivery location.  All freight charges quoted, unless otherwise specified, apply to deliveries in NewZealand only and are GST inclusive.  If the order is sent to a Rural Delivery address additional costs may apply, and we will contact you with the final delivery charge once you have completed the purchase.  If you require International delivery please include a note with your purchase so that we can respond with a quote for shipping.

REFUNDS & RETURNS
If for some reason you are not satisfied with a product or it is faulty we will happily exchange the item, provide a gift voucher or provide a refund ( excluding freight ).  However, if the item is being returned as unsatisfactory it must be returned a merchantable condition e.g with any packaging intact.  Please contact us within 14 days of delivery ( by phone or email ) and we will email you the procedure for returning the product.  During the Christmas period ( 1st to 23rd December ) we will extend this period to 14 days after Christmas Day.  Please note that all these refunds will be  credited minus the freight costs and in the same manner that the original order was placed i.e if paid by direct debit the amount will be credited back (to your account by Internet banking).

Please note that the cost of returning the goods is the Consumer’s liability unless they are faulty.  Also,we do not accept returns for overseas orders unless the goods are faulty.  The above does not apply if orders are undelivered in the specific timeframe ( see Delivery above ).

BUYING ON LINE
Select the items you wish to purchase and go to checkout.  If you change your mind after you have selected a product but before you finalise your order at the checkout simply delete the product from the list., To cancel an order once it has been submitted please phone us immediately and we may be able to cancel the order before it it’s shipped, otherwise refer to Returns & Refunds above.

PRIVACY
When you order, we need to know your name, email address, shipping address and billing address.  This allows us to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of your status.

Jurisdiction : Details contained on this website relating to Goods have been prepared in Accordance with New Zealand law and may not satisfy the laws of any jurisdiction.  We do not warrant that the details in this website concerning those Goods will satisfy the laws of any other jurisdiction.  It is your responsibility to determine whether these details satisfy the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside ( if the jurisdiction is outside NewZealand ) and if the details do not satisfy the laws of your jurisdiction, you may not order any goods from this website.

OTHER STUFF
By supplying us with your purchase details, you accept that we have the right to issue you with information or any other correspondence by email in relation to our business in accordance with the Unsolicited Electronics Messages Act 2007.  You are free to cancel this agreement by amending your customer details by logging on to your account on the Man Cave website or by responding to an email and including the words “No” in the subject.

Warranties are provided by the manufacturers and may vary depending on the item.  If by any chance you have problems with an item during the warranty please contact the manufacturer or feel free to email us and we will help out where we can.
The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies unless you are purchasing for Business purposes or it is an overseas order.

All prices shown are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST, although GST is shown separately when you add products to your basket, and when confirming your order, so don’t suddenly think that you’ve got more to spend.
